About the Job Market Explorer
The Job Market Explorer provides direct and unique access to an extensive source of labour market information, including all current job vacancies and professions in the Netherlands. The Job Market Explorer provides a highly innovative match between your profile, professions and current vacancies, based on both hard and soft characteristics. It is the only program in the Netherlands to provide a visual map of professions and job vacancies. This map shows all professions in the Netherlands.

Method
One of the purposes of the Job Market Explorer is to help you explore people’s opportunities in the job market, both the obvious opportunities and unexpected opportunities in, for instance, other sectors.
An important step in that respect is to complete the profile that is to be matched. You can also leave this open and start searching straight away, but the more accurate the profile, the better the match with job vacancies and professions. Matching based on soft skills enables you to match on the basis of personality, motivations, competencies, knowledge and activities. You can also search for professions and job vacancies with extensively overlapping soft skills, , knowledge and skills, based on your current position or on interesting positions.
